Updated YC Company Hosting Stats - Arglebargle  →
I pretty much looked at this like a huge list of what YC funds. Some of them are killer apps (http://280north.com/ http://disqus.com) but others are like wut (http://morehotter.com/ ) while others are competing in a over saturated market (http://buxfer.com/ http://divvyshot.com/ ) But all in all there are some serious winners in there. (exept that more hotter site, really wtf where you...

Chrome and Firefox 3.5 Memory Usage →
I use chrome and this happens to me all the time, but I normally have 25+ tabs open. I would switch back to FF but I love how chrome allows me to control each tab like a process, either shutting it down or if it crashes it is no big deal.

Twitter Users Heckle Hoekstra En Masse →
he tweeted out “Iranian twitter activity similar to what we did in House last year when Republicans were shut down in the House.” Some of the responses are awesome. “Someone walked in on me while I was in the bathroom. Reminded me of Pearl Harbor.” “Had to move all my stuff to a new office w/o a corner view. Now i know what the Trail of Tears was like.”

Ghetto Geolocation (Featuring Soft Porn!) →
Rob wanted geolocation without actually having to pay for it, so he asked me if there was a way to extract the user’s location from Adult Friend Finder’s ad banner script without allowing the banner to actually be displayed.

Why you need your own company  →
This a bit off topic from the link but it is why I must work for myself in the future. I know after working in a big corporate environment where you desperately want to make change or improve things but only to be shot down by the bureaucracy or jumping though 5 levels of management to even get something small done. There is a need for creative freedom in a workplace, or at least let me try...

How Twitter's Staff Uses Twitter (And Why It... →
“This article borders on ridiculous. I unfollowed the so-called ‘power users’ a long time ago. People like Chris Brogan, Scoble, Guy Kawasaki, etc. There was too much noise and not enough signal. For my own uses, I couldn’t possibly follow 1000 people. I would much prefer to follow a smaller number of people and be able to read all their tweets. I currently follow around...
